😁😁😁

Ceci had another great night and slept right thru, without waking up in increased pain 😁

At dinner time yesterday, I ordered her favorite pizza- cheese from Pizza Hut and she ate like she normally does. So her appetite medication is working wonderfully.

They took her off her fluids yesterday morning and she did not need to be reconnected. Which is awesome!!!

We need to continue to push her to drink at home, since she is still fighting a uti but we can push her at home. I’ll need to stock up on Gatorade to make sure she doesn’t get dehydrated.

Doctor said she’ll need to wear her back brace for 3 months, until her spine is fully healed but after that time she’ll be sitting up tall all on her own.

She still has a long road of recovery ahead but being able to care for her in her room, will help brighten her spirits and encourage her to rest and heal.

I’ll be helping with total care at this time for sissy because she’s not allowed to bend, lift or twist so she needs lots of help.

Bed baths for quite some time and lots of rest.

I’ll be talking to the school district on Monday to see if we can set up some tutoring when she’s up to it.

Once she gets home and we get her settled this week, I know she’d enjoy some visitors 😁 Even if it’s just coming and hanging out on her bedroom couch watching movies together. So to her friends- just text us and we’ll make arrangements 😁😁😁

We’re getting some of the supplies she needs together, waiting for pharmacy to bring up what she needs and waiting for review and then hopefully we’ll be hitting the road by 1pm.

Please pray that she tolerates the drive. This is our biggest concern.

They are going to give her a little something extra before we leave so hopefully she’ll be able to rest while I drive.

We hope everyone’s having as good of a Sunday as we are ❤

Thank you for the outpouring of love, support and engagement you’ve given us during Ceci’s hospital stay. You guys have given us such strength during this very difficult time.

And we want to say many, many thank yous to everyone helping provide medical items that Ceci needs for home to help her heal, from our Amazon Medical Wish List below.

Many of the items are things we buy out of pocket monthly because Medicaid won’t cover them and others are things we’ve wished for.

It helps so very much. Thank you 💜💜💜💜💜💜❤❤❤❤❤❤

We’ll be back soon.

Lots of love, hugs and appreciation,

Alexis, Ceci and our special family 💜
