Ceci's Courage Crew & Family Too

We’re taking it one day at a time.

Ceci is doing better this afternoon. She had a painful morning and needed to be repositioned multiple times but another round of pain medication and heating pads calmed things down.

I got her up into her brace and her chair at 12:30pm and she’s doing well.

She’s watching Descendants 3 again and ate a few French toast sticks for lunch.

We’re working on continuing to get fluids down because her output hasn’t been good, but she’s trying.

I’ve been making call after call today regarding school, getting a home tutor, getting help with some more medical supplies she needs, fighting to get the funding to help repair ceci’s wheelchair, and seeing if there’s anyone that can help us with some much needed bills.

It’s been exhausting but I’m trying 😢

Ceci’s mood is much better because her older brother, his sweet girlfriend and Ceci’s nephew came to visit a bit ago. 😁

What a difference it makes for her to have company. I know she’s in pain but she’s smiling and wants to continue being up in her brace.

She’s rocking her new “Stanger Things” shirt and pants. I told her it was too hot to be in a long sleeve shirt and sweats but she wasn’t having it LOL. She said we have air mom, hello 😋 glad she’s getting some of that teenage sass back.

Well grandma just picked up the boys from school and dropped them off, so I need to get them a snack and figure out what to make for dinner.

We hope your all having a wonderful Wednesday afternoon. What….. it is Wednesday right?!?! Oh goodness I might be losing my mind a bit.
