Ceci’s out of surgery and heading to recovery.
Doctor said she did well and is resting soundly.
He was able to remove a few hundred cc’s of the fluid off of her spine and place the internal drain with suction and shes draining.
He obtained more fluid to send to the lab and they’ll begin cultures to see if the fluid is infection again.
We should have results by Friday at the latest.
Praying so very hard for negative results for the 1st time since this all began 🙏 Depending on what comes back- Positive or Negative- tells us if Ceci is in for a much longer stay or if she can go home soon.
They’ll be calling me back soon to head to recovery to be with our girl, so I’m going to go.
