Ceci did good during surgery and the Line team was able to place a PICC line in her left upper arm.

The angels were looking after her all weekend. When we rolled Ceci into preoperative waiting her deep peripheral line staring going bad 🙄 Thank you lord for giving her the weekend to rest.

She’s sore from them tunneling through her upper arm muscles but is resting well with her pain medications.

With her being paraplegic, and using her upper body for so much her arm muscles are strong for sure.

We have the cardiac ultrasound specialist in with us now. They’ve ordered a heart and chest ultrasound because of the PVC’s Ceci has been having on and off and also because of how severe this blood infection was 😔

I’m so glad they are being proactive about her care. But I’m going to be a hot mess until we get the results back. Our girl has battled so much in these past 15 years, please don’t let her heart have damage too.

Over the moon excited! We have 2 Negative blood cultures for Ceci.

Getting closer to getting our sweet girl home and our family back together ❤

Ceci’s heading back into surgery here shortly. They need to place a PICC line to continue giving her IV antibiotics for at least the next 2 weeks.

Please say a prayer that the team is able to place one without any issues and that Ceci girl continues to heal, feel better and that her other lab work from today comes back good.
